Regarding the evaluation of gastric accommodation, the radioactivity levels of the upper one-third of the stomach when the stomach was divided into 3 equal parts along its long axis were measured just after meal intake, and this was regarded as a marker of gastric accommodation. Region of interest was determined semi-automatically. Attenuation of the radioactivity was calculated automatically.
